About AAAC WA
The Australian Association of Agricultural Consultants (WA) Inc. is the professional
body formed to provide assistance to the profession and protection to the public.
Among the objectives of the Association are those of :-
To provide a professional organisation for the special needs of Association members
in practice
To determine and implement a Code of Professional Conduct for practitioners
To assist the growth and standing of the profession
The Association arranges several seminars for members each year with expert
speakers providing the latest information on relevant topics. It also holds special
professional development functions to encourage members to improve the service
they provide to clients. To maintain membership individuals are required to allocate at
least 65 hours per year attending workshops, field days, seminars and other activities
relevant to their areas of expertise.
Corporate Members of the Association are required to have a minimum of five years
experience and to have samples of their work examined by their peers before
elevation from Provisional status.
The Association has adopted strict Codes of Conduct which prescribes the behaviour of members and ensures professional and ethical conduct in all matters.
In this manner the AAAC (WA) Inc. sets and maintains the standards in agricultural
consulting in W.A. Membership is your guarantee that the agricultural consultant you
employ is qualified and accredited and is guided by strict ethical standards.

Classes of Membership
There are four classes of membership:
- Independant Member
- General Member
- Associate Membership
- Fellow

approved by the Membership and Ethics Committee.

Register of Members
A Membership Register is published to assist potential clients to choose the consultant
most appropriate to their needs. It details the qualifications, experience and expertise
of each member and the regions of work according to the map of SW Western
Australia.
By accessing the Register,
consultants can be chosen according to the professional services
provided and the area they work in. Clients should then refer to the
individual consultant profiles before making a final decision.
